Indoctrination was a jampacked event, so bands were playing downstairs basically the whole time I was DJing. This meant there weren’t tons of dancers, because a lot of people were watching the bands. Which was OK with me in this instance. But several people came up to ask me what I was playing – including Ned from Stromkern, kek! It felt great to flex my DJing muscles behind the decks again.

Next up on the calendar is my WTII show on November 19. Looks like I may have a gig in DC coming up in December, too

Damn, what a crazy Alchemy last night! Spinning in the black room went swimmingly. I think I was partying with all the alkies

For everyone who hasn’t checked out the new club at all or for a few weeks, I urge you to revisit. Each week is getting better and better. For instance, I heard little to no sound bleed between rooms, I stayed cool all night long, the kitchen serves yummy food, and the parking areas are more clearly marked. Club Envy’s a lot more finished now than it was opening night. You’ll be pleased with the changes!
