I’ve been listening to old Skinny Puppy, especially the “Too Dark Park” and “Ain’t it Dead Yet” era, and I forgot how good it is.

Front Line Assembly Show Review
On Thursday I went to Nation to see DJ? Acucrack, Stromkern, Conjure One, and Front Line Assembly. I was super hyped for the show. Even though I don’t adore all their new material, they hold a special place in my heart. They were one of the first industrial bands I ever heard. DJ Nurse Allison @ Empire
Departing from the norm, this Thursday I’ll be spinning at a night other than Alchemy! I’ve been invited to guest DJ at Empire, a relatively new, all-industrial event in Pittsburgh. 25 cent beers and oontz, here I come.
Come out to Empire this Thursday to hear your favorite industrial jams courtesy of DJs Hiem, Lollidrop, Ktuli, EVP, and Nurse Allison!

DJ Nurse Allison DJing Alchemy
I have been DJing as DJ Nurse Allison since 2002. After getting my start on the local public access radio station, I branched off into college radio and spinning at clubs across the East Coast. You may have caught my sets at industrial/goth/fetish events such as Alchemy in Washington DC, Ceremony in Pittsburgh, NEO in Chicago, or BYTE in New York City. These days I have largely hung up the headphones, but my heart still beats loud for any type of electronic music. This section of the site houses playlists and show fliers, as well as information on upcoming music events.
